Four rules to keep in mind for RCM SAR vessels are those for power-driven vessels:

Rule 13: Overtaking (overtaking vessel must keep clear -- applies to ALL types of overtaking vessels)

Rule 14: Head On (each vessel keeps to its right)

Rule 15: Crossing (vessel with the other on the starboard side must keep clear)

Rule 18: Responsibilities between Vessels (power-driven vessel must keep clear of other classes)
